Paper Moose is a Sydney-based independent creative agency operating out of Surry Hills. It’s a working environment that takes design seriously. Existing lighting wasn’t meeting the needs of the space as it was being used. So when the team needed to upgrade their LED lighting across the office, they weren’t looking for a generic solution. Furthermore, they needed luminaires that could span a wide open floor and serve a meeting room. They preferred that each fixture be finished in black to blend into black ceilings above. The challenge was to source a product that could run continuously across the working space. Additionally, the meeting room required a different lighting solution.
Long runs of connectable linear, finished to spec, and ready to install
We spoke with the customer, and our recommendation was the LUS608 connectable linear in black. It’s one of our most requested linear products for commercial fit-outs across Sydney. Due to its connectable design, it can span wide and large spaces with ease. With multiple mounting options, this LED solution is highly adaptable for many applications. Suspending the linear meant they wouldn’t interfere with other fixtures, pipes, wiring, and air conditioning. Simultaneously, it also meant that they sat at the right height above desks for office task lighting.
The Industralight team required a different approach for the meeting room. We supplied a VRX LED strip with an HLP7477 mounting profile and suspension kit. Our production team configured the system to be installed straight away with little fuss. The mounting profile was also supplied in black to suit the style. Our premium high-output strip LED is well-suited to detailed or task-focused environments. And the diffuser on the profile allows for a broad spread of illumination across the meeting room desk.

Finally, black linear LED luminaires now span the open office floor and meeting room at Papermoose in long, clean runs. What’s more, they deliver even, comfortable light across the full working area. The strip-and-profile solution serves the meeting room well. As every luminaire was manufactured in black and suspended with matching hardware, they blend into the ceiling.
The connectable design made installation straightforward for the contractors on-site. Modular sections join cleanly, which cuts down on complicated custom work, especially on-site. And compared to standard products, our pre-prepared solutions allow for a quick and efficient install. As a result, the lighting systems cover different workspaces with a consistent aesthetic.
